May 15, 2021 - GULFPORT COVERED BRIDGE, IN
May 15, 2021 - Saturday GULFPORT COVERED BRIDGE, Dearborn County, IN In Honor of Armed Forces Day, a couple of us from the US Marine Riders Association had scheduled a 240 mile motorcycle ride to visit two original sites. The Replica of the Tomb of the Unknown Solider in Rushville, IN and the Tour of Honor Memorial in New Palestine, IN to pay our respect to our fallen brother and sisters. Along the way, we rode by three additional locations that we just had to stop at and check it out. The Gulfport Covered Bridge in Dearborn County, IN, the Arlington East Hill Cemetery in Arlington, IN and the Civil War Memorial in Greensburg, IN. A good deed done along with 72 degree weather, sunny skies with a few clouds, and a lot or winding roads in the back country of Indiana.
